Job Responsibilities:

In partnership with Sales and Marketing, develops and executes customer plans which deliver profitable growth, improved CenturyLink consulting image and loyal customers; provides strategic consulting support to global accounts / prospects and to Account General Managers with the key objective of driving turbo growth solution sales within target accounts; develops Structured Intellectual Capital and Intellectual Materials to create market presence.

  • Creates profitable business growth by selling/delivering high level consulting engagements to CenturyLink customers
  • Accountable for growing revenues within assigned accounts.
  • Accountable for managing the business funnel associated with consultative selling approach, as well as forecasting significant service orders as a result of consulting engagements (not day-to-day sales / service instructions)
  • Accountable for managing consulting engagements delivered to the customer and for working in support of the Account Manager, who owns day to day management of the customer relationship.
  • Accountable for driving the specialist solution sales elements of nominated accounts on behalf of Account General Managers including tender responses and negotiations
  • Help create solution sales strategies with Regional Sales Heads and Account General Managers and set solutions targets for specific accounts/regions

 

Overall Solution Authority and delivery:

 

  • Has overall accountability for the solution design
  • Ensures Solution Architects follow agreed Technical Authorities providing validity and completeness of integrated solutions
  • Draws on pool of subject matter experts across all solutions sets (Solutions Architects and Solution Consultants)
  • Knowledge master sharing best practice solutions and positioning CenturyLink as a market leader
  • Creates response templates and presentations for specialist areas
  • Shapes successful strategic solution strategies; promotes CenturyLink as leading edge through conference presentations, White Papers, Point of View papers; creates market presence
  • Stays abreast of market trends, informs on technology / user applications at customers and in marketplace generally
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to CenturyLink consulting pool and to customer’s technical staff
  • Mentors and provides leadership to other consultants
  • Overall responsible for managing pre-sales delivery and oversee all deliveries

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to communicate at C-level executives and engage them to build lasting relationship to drive solutions and secure business
  • Ideally should have experience of working within a practice with significant revenues ($5M+)
  • Self-starter and very strong communicator
  • Very strong Client facing and client handling skills
  • Must have managed multiple EDW projects -end-to-end (EIM, EDW Database - LSA layer, Star Schema and Visualization) engagements
  • Must have good experience in Master Data management - Tool evaluation, selection, pro-cons with specific focus in SAP areas
  • Must have good knowledge of EIM - Data quality, IS, data steward process, tools - evaluation and selection (Informatica, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle and SAP products)  
  • Must have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of end-to-end architecture, data flow, system interface design/development
  • Must have architecture experience in Service Oriented, Service Oriented Modeling, Business process, Layered scale architecture
  • Must have details knowledge of database modeling, scripting, retrieval, insertion, various types of indexes, row-columnar based design
  • Must have good experience with visual tools, evaluation selection - SAP BI/BO - DS, Webi, BI 4.x, Tableau, Qlikview, integration with EDW
  • Must have in depth experience in data analytics, data science algorithms and industry usage, HANA - R integration, HANA - .Net integration, SAP PA and SAS
  • Good experience in HANA - Big data interface (VORA), SDI/SDA, Data lake design, HANA/Hadoop sizing, Real-time/batch feeds, SAP streaming data feeds, integration with third party web based systems
  • Must have good experience of design users roles/access/security/database access - folder/row level security
  • Must have very strong functional skills in a broad range of ERP functional area : Financials to logistics and understands integration well
  • Ability to lead end to end Solutioning: interact with business users, lead discovery and blueprinting workshops sessions, explore solution options, vetting them with business users and then design solutions for implementation and implement them.
  • Ability to map business processes on various Finance Systems and come up with systems Roadmap
  • Must be able to manage delivery of multiple projects, plan and manage resources, budget and financials and will be responsible for multiple project deliveries
  • Must be content leader and will lead Presales support for opportunities in HANA (EIM, HANA, XS, BI, BW, EDW) area.  Manage Proof of Concepts delivery, carry out RFP responses and work in collaboration with sales and other solution team
  • Ability to manage team members, working as mentors, grooming and helping them to progress on their career path
  • Provide content leadership in SAP finance area
  • Ability to create business case, strategic vs tactical approach, business value drivers, coast based execution plan
  • Ability to represent CTL in big conferences, present and talk about business growth driven out of IT, create CTL brand in different industries
  • Must have experience with SAP upgrade & Migrate, EDW - SAP, BW, HANA implementation
  • Must have experience with working with third party vendor, leading the alliance
  • Ability to see future demand in different industry, changing trend in business and alignment of IT to support the same
  • Leading technical teams, either through chain of command or influence

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Full UK driving licence (with the ability to travel to company offices and client sites across EMEA).
  • BSc / B Tech degree in computer science or related to technical field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
