Job Description

Our marketing professionals are creative thought leaders, driving the strategy and execution of CenturyLink's brand in the marketplace. The marketing assistant is responsible for supporting the EMEA marketing team in the planning and implementation of marketing programs that support business objectives and help deliver profitable growth. This position will also work with sales, product, and the wider international teams.

This role is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate to develop towards an exciting career in marketing.

This role supports the EMEA marketing team in the creation and execution of marketing materials and activities across all aspects of the marketing function including:

  • Collaborates cross functionally with EMEA marketing, product, sales and the wider global teams.
  • Assists with account-based marketing campaigns to grow the wallet spend of current customers as well as develop our prospective customer base within key vertical sectors.
  • Participates in the creation and execution of both digital and direct mail campaigns.
  • Provides support for the organisation and facilitation of exhibitions and events.
  • Manages lead processes using Salesforce and marketing automation tools.
  • Assists with public relations activities including media coverage amplification.
  • Helps coordinate customer reference activities including updating the Reference View application and assisting with advocacy activities such as written and video case studies.
  • Coordinates our presence on social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter and using the EveryOne Social employee advocacy platform.
  • Uploads marketing content to the company website.
  • Manages stock of collateral and giveaways.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree – marketing degree or equivalent experience 
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Keen interest to learn all aspects of the marketing function
  • Highly motivated, energetic individual with the ability to handle tasks proactively and independently
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workloads to meet competing deadline

Preferred Requirements:

Proven experience in or knowledge of Marketing and/or Communications

  • Knowledge of, or interest in, B2B technology
  • Understanding of business strategy and in relation to the marketing function
  • Experience of marketing and sales automation tools (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce)
