Job Summary

The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, managing and executing regional marketing programs supporting key routes-to-market initiatives to drive marketing results across identified key performance metrics. Executes and measures integrated marketing campaigns associated with building brand awareness, thought leadership, leads generation, revenue and customer advocacy across stages of the customer journey. Manages workflow across a variety of tactics including events, web and social approaches. Candidate will work closely with the APAC marketing program managers, collaborate across functional teams and with corporate teams, and direct external vendor resources to successfully execute, track and report on marketing campaigns.

Job Description

  • Leading field marketing effort including strategy, planning, management and execution
  • Drive high efficiency and contribution to business outcomes through increasing the proficiency of field execution
  • Support the route-to-market marketing program managers in the execution of integrated marketing communication programs across the region
  • Lead Generation – Execution of highly-targeted lead generation campaigns to prospects and existing customer base, utilizing a mix of online and offline techniques. Work closely with the sales team to create a dialogue with key targets and work with marketing program managers to establish appropriate content to develop nurturing offers aligned to the customer’s buying cycle.
  • Customer Retention and Growth – Support execution of customer-based marketing programs to drive usage of CenturyLink’s products and services, create upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing customer base to increase share of wallet.
  • Cross Regional Teaming - Support Global Sales Program (GSP) program execution to increase cross regional teaming and APAC pipeline creation.
  • Event Management - Manage and execute customer and prospect events such as workshops, industry conferences & exhibitions, round tables and corporate hospitality. Ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post-event strategy to increase engagement and response rates.
  • Management of new contacts and profiled leads acquired through offline marketing activities - Industry events, list brokers, telemarketing and lead development agencies. Work with Marketing Operations to ensure all contact profiles adhere to database guidelines for profiling and segmentation, and are captured in the marketing database.
  • Work with marketing program managers to evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to local/in-country demand creation programs including event venues and services, direct mail providers, designers, copywriters and list brokers.
  • Management of sales support materials - Ensure all materials are relevant and up to date. Work with marketing program managers to develop new regional content for use within lead generation efforts including fact-sheets, white-papers, infographics, videos, etc.
  • Manage the translation and localization of sales support materials and marketing collaterals for local/in-country market needs.
  • Supplier Management – Negotiate and manage local vendor relationships and agreements under the corporate guidelines. Liaison and management of suppliers and agencies such as event management, creative and translation.
  • Tracking ROI - Manage the process for capturing and reporting on leads (MQL and SQL) from every marketing program, through SFDC, with support from marketing operations.
  • Reporting – Provide monthly report for next 30/60/90 action plan and quarterly ROI reports on ALL activity metrics.

Qualifications

Essentials:

·         At least 8 years of experience of working in a similar regional role, managing and delivering innovative integrated marketing programs

·         Experience in B2B marketing in IT industry (software, hardware, service provider)

·         Strong interpersonal, facilitation and project management skills

·         Able to work independently with a high level of proactiveness and accountability

·         Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills to execute marketing programs in support of achieving of SMART business objectives and marketing goals

·         Experience using Salesforce.com and marketing automation systems such as Marketo

·         Agency management experience – Creative, event management, etc.

·         Strong written skills, verbal communication skills and presentation skills

·         Attention to detail, producing accurate and creative work

 

Desirable:

·         Aptitude for leveraging digital marketing, digital advertising and sales acceleration tools & technologies

·         Data mining and analysis

Education

Masters or Equivalent

Bachelors or Equivalent in Marketing or Business
