Job Summary

The Technical Writer II role in the Hybrid IT Platform Onboarding Team is not a typical tech writing position. This person will be focused on developing and curating a broad set of content for the Hybrid IT Enablement Platform website (, as well as for sales enablement materials and documentation designed to reduce or remove friction for customers to adopt our technologies. Individual will work closely with a range of departments and subject matter experts (SMEs), including Product Managers, Product Development teams, Leadership, Sales, Marketing and members of our Digital Onboarding Team to create, maintain, update, and edit content. Work product will be wide ranging and require a proactive approach to gathering reference materials and obtaining SME approvals.

    • Various technical documentation
  • Participate in agile process for planning, prioritization and work review.
  • Provide principles and standards for process documentation, design, measurement, Standard Operating Procedures, monitoring and reporting.
  • Drive thought leadership through collaboration with SMEs.
  • Review customer feedback of content to ensure all required changes are reflected, while also filtering out unnecessary or subjective changes that might denigrate the overall quality or messaging priorities.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand content and thoroughly “atomize” it across various media.
  • Occasional travel up to 10% of the time usually within the USA.


  • Required
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
    • 5+ years related experience
    • Expert MS Word and MS PowerPoint
    • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Preferred
    • Master’s degree
    • 10+ years related experience in technology writing
    • Cloud and Hybrid IT space experience
    • Basic knowledge of Beegit, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, json, GitHub, Trello, JIRA
    • Experience with CMS platforms, Podomatic, Camtasia, Survey Monkey, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, SalesForce and Pardot, or similar SaaS tools
    • Graphic Design, UI or UX experience.
