Job Summary

SLED Inside Sales CARE position will be responsible for handling inbound State, Local and Education customer calls for care, sales, & retention for CenturyLink’s product portfolio. They will be accountable for protecting base revenue, incremental new sales to existing clients, and meeting/exceeding sales/service targets and quality customer service expectations. Responsible for updating relevant customer information-including but not limited to customer activity, funnel, opportunity updates, customer requested changes, customer proposals and contracts. Must also be able to effectively resolve customer issues/problems and attempt to transition those calls into sales opportunities.  The right candidate will possess the ability to cultivate new opportunities within existing accounts.
 

Job Description

• Exceptional customer focus with an emphasis on enhancing the customer experience via an Inbound and Outbound motion
• Ability to work independently
• Prior sales and care work experience of 3+ years
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels within the organization and maintain composure during stressful situations
• Will manage State, Local and Education customers who are not assigned to an account manager.
• Proficient PC Windows-based computer skills including use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls in structured environment
• Required to engage with special pricing and offer management
• Required to work with managed service agreements and contracts
• Engage with service delivery team on complex solutions
• Ability to package and enter local and national orders
• Utilize Salesforce to build funnel and forecast sales
• Partners with Inside Sales and Field Sales professionals as needed.
• Collaborates with internal resources; engages the proper resources to resolve customer issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years account management experience with a history of working to retain and grow existing accounts.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Inside Sales.Com; sales tools Marketo, TMI, SalesLink, Everyone Social
• Minimum of two years customer CARE and resolution experience
• Familiar with CenturyLink internal ordering and billing systems.
• Familiar with CenturyLink contract management and inventory systems.
