Job Summary

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating campaign concepts and branding for internal and external clients. Strong skills in brand development, design, typography and composition are required. Should have a clear understanding of how to prepare files for both print production and digital use.  Must be comfortable receiving feedback from clients and fellow designers, as well as offering feedback when needed.


Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn quickly while delivering quality design work and meeting tight deadlines are key attributes of this individual.

Job Description

  • Plans branding and campaign concepts by researching the client’s needs, target audience, competitors, etc.
  • Develops designs and layout of logos, art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and font style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Obtains approval of concepts and makes adjustments as needed.
  • Prepares and packages final files as appropriate for how they will be used.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates creative, technical and analytical skills.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by engaging in on-the-job training resources, reviewing professional publications and/or participating in professional societies.
  • Exceptional listening skills. Century Marketing is a very client-focused organization and this person must be willing to interact with clients, carefully consider their ideas and translate them into effective design.
  • May also be called upon to make presentations when needed.


  • 0-3 years of related experience
    • Web design experience and video editing skills are a plus.
  • Strong design, layout, typography, and composition skills. Ability to translate campaign concepts into a variety of deliverables.
  • Experience with print production and a clear understanding of how to prepare files for both print and web applications.
  • Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop on a Mac platform.
  • Is able to prioritize, organize, and manage a substantial workload. This includes being able to complete jobs in a timely manner or on a specified deadline.
  • Ability to work in tandem with others in the creative department, sharing responsibility of work loads, quality control and the like. Strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable offering and receiving constructive criticism from both peers and clients.


Masters or Equivalent

Bachelors or Equivalent in Graphic Design or Web Design
