Job Summary

 

The Program Manager manages the PMO and engineering resources and projects/programs to ensure that all services and solutions are delivered on time and within budget for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania CENSS contract.

Job Description

 

 

  • Manages cross functional teams that include network engineers, project managers, service desk agents (call center), trainers, documentation/writers, and change management personnel
  • Attends and manages client service review meetings; areas covered will include performance reports, service improvements, quality, and processes
  • Develops comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Reviews project proposals and/or plans to determine time frame, funding limitation, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project
  • Implements and manages customer requirements and expectations
  • Ensures SLAs meet (or exceed) client expectations
  • Ensures that systems, processes, and methodologies as specified are followed to sure effective monitoring, control, and support of service delivery
  • Identifies areas of process and system improvement driven by data and reporting
  • Works with the account team gathering customer requirements
  • Manages the profit and loss for the entire program
  • Hires, trains and manages PMO team members
  • Supports training, communications, and change management within the organization.
Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree or 7 to 10 years of relevant job experience.
  • Job experience in the telecommunications industry
  • Job experience with similar essential duties
  • 7+ years’ direct customer service experience with increasingly responsible project management experience required with an emphasis on technical capabilities preferred
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and implementing multiple strategic, complex projects with successful results (scope, schedule, and budget) simultaneously
  • Experience defining and documenting processes, and driving continuous improvement to processes via process measurement/metrics
  • CCNA Certification or higher desired
  • PMP Certification desired
  • ITIL Certification desired
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Word
  • Manage Projects across functional projects/programs
