Job Summary

Job Description

  • Provide direct supervision and management of CTL exempt and non-exempt employees, and all assigned contractors. Responsible for understanding, executing and complying with bargaining unit labor contracts as documented. Perform quarterly reviews and annual assessments for CTL exempt employees and 3PL contractor performance surveys as required.
  • Responsible for effective and efficient coordination and guidance of day to day distribution center operations involving material activities associated with receiving, put away, picking, shipping, inventory management, clean and screen, kitting, and reverse logistics.
  • Responsible for stringent oversight and management of Distribution Center inventory and assets with on-hand inventory value ranging between $1.2M to $100M. Inventory throughput for the Denver DC is over $316 Million annually.  Responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive audit and reconciliation program to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity across all DC managed inventories.  Manage inventory shrinkage to less than .5%.
  • Develop and implement short and long term planning strategies related to DC design, setup, staffing, processes, and budget. Execute implementation of immediate and/or phased action plans related to small, large, high impact and/or high-value Distribution Center projects.
  • Responsible for delivering DC operating performance in line with identified SLA’s and metrics.
  • Responsible for evaluation and processing of decommissioned materials, while ensuring all company processes and procedures are followed in managing and handling of assets.
  • Lead and manage asset recovery efforts to ensure the recovery of valuable scrap assets (metal, copper, and electronics) and reconcile scrap sales to proceeds received. Collaborate with accounting and asset disposition groups to consume overstock items and/or send to consignment vendors.
