Job Summary

The Senior Lead Sales Operations Consultant manages high level analytics, investigates sales and pricing data, conducts sales analysis and reporting for a specific sales region. This more senior level role partners with sales teams, sales managers and executive management to analyze specifics around the sales process and pricing information

Job Description

  • Sales reporting, analysis, investigation and training for senior leaders within a sales team
  • Partner with senior leaders and managers to understand/communicate sales recognition processes and detailed reconciliation of booked sales versus compensated sales
  • Oversee and manage Salesforce reporting/dashboards, revenue/sales data, sales funnel, and opportunities
  • Ad hoc reporting at a senior leader level
  • Onboarding overview
  • Provide feedback to enhance productivity, sales revenue and collaboration between HR, operations, sales, marketing, product and finance.
  • Ensure sales operations policies/practices are reviewed/revised as technology and business conditions change
  • Develop and deliver training to senior leadership



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field plus 7+ years of experience; or 9+ years of experience managing sales reporting, sales analytics, and sales training
  • Proficient Excel skills for complicated sales reporting to senior level leadership
  • Ability to present complicated analytics to senior executives and liaise between the various levels of Individual Contributor, Manager, Director, Sr Directors and Executives
  • Experience facilitating meetings and keeping team focused on objectives, next steps, and action plans
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, be detailed-oriented and deliver results

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CenturyLink Rules of Engagement, Sales Recognition and Sales Operations Playbook
  • Experience with Sales
  • Experience working in a telecom/networking sales environment
