Job Summary

The Engineering Manager will manage a team of personnel for two initial functions for the government program, but this may grow over time.  One function is a focus on Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) for the program, which will involve team members deploying to sites to inspect installed devices and configurations for defects and/or any deviations from established Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) specifications or applicable industry standards.  The team will document and report deviations as well as produce Engineering Design Package (EDP) redlines for site As-Built documentation.  The other function is a focus on hydrogen fuel cell technology and supporting infrastructure to include valves and compressed gas components.  The team will have fuel cell subject matter experts for the program with extensive understanding of how it used for the program's mission requirements.  They will work to improve designs with vendors, produce engineering documentation as needed, conduct testing in lab and field environments, and track significant fuel cell related issues such as compressed gas cylinder recertification/requalification timelines and product lifecycles.  This is a new team of eight personnel initially with potential to grow.  The Engineering Manager candidate selected will be required to begin the recruiting and hiring process of all eight positions upon hire and proper onboarding.
