Job Summary


The Senior Manager of Segment Strategy is a key partner to the RVP and interfaces with the RVP weekly/daily.  Sitting on staff meetings, attending sales ‘Health of Business’ reviews, customer events, etc.  Ideally this candidate has business management, segment strategy and field marketing in their background.  The ideal candidate has had a sales role and is comfortable being with and in front of our largest customers. 

Job Description


  • Creates the marketing plan for region – including managing stakeholders, managing the budget, understanding the performance of each tactic and working with all marketing and sales team to deliver on these tactics
  • This role is a key contributor to sales productivity and the improvement of that metric
  • Manages the Field Marketing team, tactics and events for the region
  • Requests and provide feedback on the campaigns and programs that the delivery teams are developing
  • Provide feedback on the target audiences and primary accounts for the region
  • Creates and drives enablement unique to the regions needs
  • Executes/communicates on all campaigns, events, product/solution launches and other marketing, PR, Analyst activities within the region
  • Recommends incentives, promotions, blitz ideas to the offer team.
  • Owns the must win strategy for the region
  • Directs, drives and executes on necessary initiatives, research, studies and analysis.


  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of B2B marketing experience
  • Ability to analyze information, ask questions and gain insights that lead to strategic answers.
  • Previous experience leading both direct teams and cross functional/matrixed teams
  • Well versed in all business functions, including marketing, sales, finance, HR, operations and IT
  • Enjoys ambiguity and can define a path forward regardless of roadblocks or challenges
