Job Description

Summary Responsible for supporting and/or leading financial assurance projects and performing detailed audits that identify revenue recovery and cost savings opportunities. Isolate and research services, analyze business drivers, determine root causes, and work with functional and business teams to resolve leakage issues. Interface with many organizations at various management levels. Knowledge, Skills or Abilities 5+ years of experience managing moderately complex / technical projects with success determined by financial outcome in a high pressure environment. Moderate software development capability and data modeling experience preferred.

Data acquisition and querying (SQL, T-SQL, PL-SQL and ETL development) capability desired. Six Sigma Greenbelt and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification may be required based on departmental need. Experience defining and documenting processes, and driving improvement via process measurement/metrics. Solid understanding of Telecommunications services technologies and products. Experience working with Telecom OSS/BSS environments preferred. Strength in critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciliation of conflicts, and effective communication of impacts. Good communication skills; verbal and written. Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, MS Project and SharePoint. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Successful track record with changing direction or priority to meet the needs of the business. Regularly and proactively identify risks/issues, and drive action to mitigate/resolve them. Strong business acumen. Experience with Financial Assurance principles preferred. Qualifications - External Essential Duties- Support and/or lead moderately complex financial assurance projects aimed at preventing revenue leakage. Implement system and process controls by managing schedules, priorities, dependencies, and resourcing. Develop metrics/reporting and provide crisp communication on initiative(s). - Analyze moderately complex operational and financial data, research defects, isolate root cause, and drive irreversible corrective action. -

Develop operational requirements, identify impacts, and manage the implementation of process and system changes throughout the company. - Elicit business and system requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, and workflow analysis. - Define and document financial assurance and operational processes that impact revenue and/or expense and drive continuous improvement. - Use developing functional knowledge to spearhead tactical, transaction based audits needing immediate implementation. Basic Qualifications Minimum skills required to perform in this role. Five years of experience managing moderately complex / technical projects. Experience defining and documenting processes, and driving improvement via process measurement/metrics. Solid understanding of Telecommunications
