Job Summary



We are looking for a high-energy, driven, fast track professional for a Corporate Strategic Finance Manager role to help with the company's global Corporate finance function.
The ideal candidate will have foundational corporate finance / FP&A experience, combined with some experience with investment banking, private equity or corporate development. The selected professional will report to the Director of Corporate Finance and assist with financial modeling, strategic planning, board packages, budget targets, and other special projects providing wide-ranging decision support on all Corporate finance matters.

Job Description


This position will be responsible for providing analytic support and complex modeling to enable fact-based decision making for the Executive management team on investments, special projects, and overall corporate initiatives.
Support monthly updates of all corporate business models for revenue, network access costs, operating expense, capex and changes in working capital.  Drive continuous improvement and refinement of underlying financial models to increase forecast accuracy.
A critical component of this role will be to work with the team and across the organization to help develop recommendations to mitigate risks and/or capitalize on opportunities.
This person will assist in the multi-year financial projections and teaming with Strategy and Transformation teams to support our Long Range Strategic Plan.
Create presentations and analyses for the CFO and CEO as well as board of directors' materials
Additional responsibilities include supporting the team in establishing external guidance the company provides, Debt re-financing opportunities, M&A deal analysis, valuation work and providing ad hoc decision support analysis for major executive level projects.
Finally, this role includes a reporting component which will require regular analysis and comprehensive monitoring of the overall business to understand if desired returns have been achieved while highlighting trends, performing variance analysis and assessing results across the entire company




8+ years of relevant work experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, plus prior investment banking and/or corporate development background
BA/BS degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business administration; an MBA preferred
Highly motivated and an analytical thinker who can go deep within the business, but also understands the bigger picture
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and drive projects to completion with limited supervision
Must be advanced level user with Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with complex financial modeling and financial analysis
Strong understanding of Corporate Finance principles
Team player with a humble and positive attitude
Specific experience with Hyperion Essbase and building reports is a plus
