Job Summary

 

The Lead Analyst role will be reporting to our Finance VP of Consolidation and Governance. This position will play a lead role in the development and presentation of investment analysis at the executive level.  Position will be responsible for creating internal and external investment models across current and emerging market opportunities to inform capital allocation decision making.  Position will work closely with senior business and corporate finance team in development of key initiatives and long range plans.

Job Description

 

This position will be responsible for providing analytic support and complex modeling to enable fact-based decision making for the Executive management team on investments, special projects, and overall corporate initiatives.

 

Additional responsibilities include supporting the team in establishing external guidance the company provides, Debt re-financing opportunities, M&A deal analysis, valuation work and providing ad hoc decision support analysis for major executive level projects.

 

Finally, this role includes a reporting component which will require regular analysis and comprehensive monitoring of the overall business to understand if desired returns have been achieved while highlighting trends, performing variance analysis and assessing results across the entire company

Qualifications

 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Business, Economics, and/or Accounting preferred)
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting, capital structuring, and valuation methodologies
  • Ability to manage high levels of complexity while maintaining attention to detail
  • Adept at thinking strategically and simplifying problem sets
  • Ability to balance deadlines and priorities across multiple projects with limited supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

 

 

Preferred:

  • Investment banking / Private Equity experience preferably within Telecom, Media, or Technology industry
  • Experience with deal structuring, diligence, and execution processes
  • MBA
  • Systems experience: Microsoft SQL, Oracle Hyperion Essbase, Tableau and/or Anaplan
